WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Doris Almeda Cardarelli, 92, of Warren, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019, at Community Skilled Nursing Home.
She was born August 9, 1926, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Howard Caldwell and Ila Kincaid Caldwell.
Doris married the late Anthony Cardarelli and shared 37 years of marriage until his passing on August 30, 1988.
She was a graduate of Champion High School and was employed as a cook with the Champion School System for over 25 years.
Doris was an active member of the Champion Christian Church, where she helped in the preparation of meals for various functions.
She enjoyed sewing, reading and baking, especially pumpkin bread and cookies. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who took much pride in her family.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Albert (Nancy) Cardarelli of Howland, Ohio and Wayne Cardarelli of Hartford, Ohio; two brothers, Howard (Donna) Caldwell and David (Peggy) Caldwell, both of Champion, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Perhach of Hartford, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brian (Laura) Cardarelli of Toledo, Ohio, Lauren (Scott) Filip of Pittsburgh, Ohio, Renae (Eric) Hoso of Howland, Ohio and Tony (Christina) Cardarelli of Columbus, Ohio; along with six great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Ethan, Parker, Blayke, Gia and Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony Cardarelli; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 13 at the Champion Christian Church, where Rev. Ken Hopkins will officiate.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 Noon until service time at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 13 at the church.
Interment will be in the Champion Township Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Avenue, Warren.
