Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with his brother, Rev. Dr. Paul E. Knupp, Jr. and Pastor Lawrence L. Thomas, Jr. officiating for Bruce Andrew Knupp, 64, who died Thursday morning, March 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center.

He was born August 5, 1954 in Youngstown, a son of Paul E. and Ida M. Papa Knupp and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Knupp was a 1972 graduate of Hubbard High School and a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.

He was a commercial HVAC sheet metal worker for 30 years, retiring in 2015. After retiring, he worked as a maintenance engineer for Dillard’s for three years and also owned and operated Papa’s Home Inspection and Repair.

Bruce golfed on the Thursday Night Traveling League and was the Treasurer for the VFW Golf League. He coached youth baseball for many years and loved his family; especially his grandchildren.

He leaves his wife, the former Linda L. Ashby, whom he married October 20, 1973; a son, Aaron Knupp of Struthers; a daughter, Kristen Knupp of Hubbard; a brother, Rev. Dr. Paul E. Knupp, Jr. and his wife, Tamara, of Clive, Iowa; a sister, Linda S. Eloph and her husband, Bill, of Champion; three grandchildren, Bruce, Andrew and Brodee Knupp and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary L. Knupp.

Family and friends may call on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the funeral services on Tuesday, March 19 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
