Ann Evans, age 81, of The Colony at St. Paul’s Continuing Care Community, West Salem Township, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2019, in Sharon Regional Health System.
She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 25, 1937, a daughter of Cecil E. and Ava M. (Wilson) Shockley.
Ann was a 1955 graduate of Sunset High School, Dallas, Texas.
She had been employed as a bookkeeper at Anderson Coach & Travel and was previously employed as a sales representative throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania for K&M Jewelry.
She was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed cooking and doing crossword puzzles.
Ann was a member of the Greenville VFW Post #3374 Auxiliary and had been a past volunteer at St. Paul’s and had recently been appointed to The Colony Council.
On March 13, 1967, she married Paul E. Evans, he survives at home. Also surviving are three daughters, Denise A. Wynkoop and her husband, Jerry of Sigel, Pennsylvania, Dayna S. Walton and her husband, Cleve of Brookville, Pennsylvania and Valerie L. Donaldson and her husband, William, of Indiana, Pennsylvania; a son, Paul J. Evans and his wife, Anna, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debra E. Sanborn and a sister, Peggy Weimer.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19 in the Keifer Chapel at St. Paul’s Continuing Care Community, with Rev. William Kirker and Rev. Julia Fraser, co-officiating.

Arrangements have be entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 South Main Street Greenville.
