Facebook: Bill Moder for City of Hermitage Commissioner
Why I should be elected
I have worked with the Board of Commissioners and staff for 15 years to provide quality city services with responsible budgets. Through the City Economic Development Commission I helped develop our Revolving Loan Program and as a member of the Shenango Valley Enterprise Zone have assisted existing businesses to expand and provided loans to new companies. As a former Assistant District Attorney for 15 years, I strongly support our police, fire and first responders who keep our families and neighborhoods safe. The Board initiated the recent update to the city Comprehensive Plan and I look forward to implementing the recommendations it outlines to help Hermitage prepare for 2030.
Top three priorities
1) Maintain a high level of city services in a cost efficient manner to attract residents and growth and continue the Neighborhood Investment Program which funds street and infrastructure improvements in established neighborhoods.
2) Promote retention and expansion of existing businesses in the industrial areas of the city.
3) Implement the updated Comprehensive Plan to strengthen and improve the existing commercial and retail areas.
