Production Assistant Sara Pompeo has been with WKBN since 2016. She started as a part-time employee and worked her way up to become full-time. Along with writing and editing stories for WKBN.com, Pompeo also does camerawork for the live newscasts and works on graphics.
She grew up in Poland and graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing with a Professional Area of Study in Journalism.
While at YSU, she was a reporter and copy editor for the school’s newspaper, The Jambar.
