WKBN Web Producer Michael Reiner has always had a love for words. So much so, that in the 8th grade, he competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Michael’s journalism career began in high school when he wrote high school football stories for the Lisbon Morning Journal.
Michael continued his journalism journey at Kent State University, where he graduated in May 2020. During his time at Kent State University, he worked in the sports department of the award winning student television station: TV2 KSU.
Michael interned at WKBN on many occasions and he is happy to return in a full time role. Michael enjoys going to sporting events with his family and reading a good book.
