Megan Lee joined the WKBN-27 First News team in May 2021 as a multimedia journalist.
A graduate of Royal Oak High School in Royal Oak, Michigan, Megan is a graduate of Central Michigan University, earning a degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts.
Prior to joining WKBN, Megan gained extensive experience during her time at News Central 34, a CNN and CBS affiliate at Central Michigan University. A half hour nightly newscast, broadcasting in multiple counties in Michigan, News Central 34 offered Megan the opportunity to work as a sports anchor as well as a general news anchor.
Away from the station, Megan loves to cook and try new recipes. She also enjoys working out, skiing in both northern Michigan and Colorado, and watching her favorite baseball team, the Detroit Tigers. She also loves a good oat milk latte and traveling, especially to visit her sister who lives in Shanghai.
Megan is excited to get involved in the community, having spent many hours volunteering during her time in Michigan. She looks forward to getting to know Ohio and Pennsylvania better, as well as trying out all the outstanding pizza places of the Mahoning Valley.
