Jennifer Rodriguez was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio.
She graduated from Chaney High School, then went on to Youngstown State University where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
She has a passion for investigative journalism, oftentimes taking on longer, in-depth projects. She also has a passion for telling community and personal stories.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching movies and documentaries. She also enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer work and mentorship.
Jennifer has made several achievements in her journalism career, including receiving the Robert R. Hare Award in English, the Emerging Leader Justice and Equality Award and the Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
Jennifer feels it is important to be a voice to the community through reporting and telling stories. She is passionate about serving the community she grew up in and delivering them with exciting and honest stories. She hopes to serve the area for years to come.
