Jacob was born and raised in Salem. He graduated from Salem High School in 2012 and went on to graduate from Kent State University with a degree in Journalism with a focus in Broadcast. During his time in college, he was apart of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and was apart of the college TV station, TV2. He joined First News in September 2018 and became an on-air reporter in April 2019.
During his free time, Jacob likes to play video games, visit friends and watch sports.
