2020 CFOC Scholarship Contest

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) –  The 2020 Caring for Our Community campaign kicked off the year with the Tom Holden Memorial Scholarship Contest.  This was open to junior and senior High School students in Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull and Mercer counties.

Thank you to all those students who submitted entries for this year’s scholarship contest! We received more than 200 submissions.

Here are the top finalists:
First Place – Olivia Rhodehamel, South Range High School
Second Place – Aaron Hinchliffe, David Anderson High School
Third Place – Mikayla Bloom, Trumbull Career & Technical Center
Fourth Place – Isaiah Vennetti, Hubbard High School
Fifth Place – Alexa Fullerman, Struthers High School
Sixth Place – Harley Fussnecker, Struthers High School

Our winners will be honored at a luncheon later in March and will be featured in commercial spots airing on WKBN 27 this April.
