Founded in 2004, the mission of the Alzheimer’s Assistance and Referral Network is to assist area families dealing with the abundant responsibilities involved in tending to loved ones suffering with this progressive brain disease. Through educational seminars, speaker’s bureau presentations and family mentoring our league of experienced facilitators offer people-to-people help because they have been there. Our neighborhood convenient support groups enable caregivers to share with and learn from others going through the same difficult experience.

Add your perspective to any issue by leaving comments on the site.

To keep the discussion constructive, we have a few basic guidelines:

Do not add posts that have nothing to do with the topic, repetitive posts to multiple items and off-topic posts that hinder discussion.

Please respond insightfully and respectfully. There is room for disagreement, but please disagree with people's ideas. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Do not post comments which contain profanity, hate speeches or solicitations of any kind.

Stay on topic. Keep it short. Limit your posts to about 150 words. If you have to scroll to read your comment, it's probably too long.

Review your comment. Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation make it easier for everyone to understand your ideas.

We welcome your thoughts, but we reserve the right to remove or edit comments for guideline violations, including excessive length. Thank you for your understanding.
