The Dallas Stars strengthened their lineup in
advance of Wednesday's tilt with the Calgary Flames, activating forward Mike
Modano and right winger Jere Lehtinen from injured reserve.
Modano, the highest scoring American-born player in league history, has been
out since suffering a rib injury in Dallas' season-opening loss against
Nashville.
Injuries, meanwhile, have limited Lehtinen to only two games this season. The
Finn missed the first three games of the 2009-10 campaign with a groin ailment
and the last nine because of abdominal soreness.
