-This past Friday, Collin Gilbert led Crestview with 198 yards rushing to go along with his 51 passing yards and 4 total touchdowns in the Rebels' 42-7 victory over West Branch. Trevor Cope also gained 136 yards on the ground and scored twice (stats courtesy of Lowell Spencer).
-Liberty turned back Niles in their home opener, 42-33. After a two-point loss to Salem (27-25), the Leopards registered Kevin Cylar his first win as a head coach. Asim Pleas led all runners with 183 yards as freshman Lynn Bowden accumulated 132 yards on the ground. Brandon Rios also sacked the Dragons' quarterbacks 3 times.
-Crestview was last held below 30-points in a regular season game on September 10, 2010 by Tuscarawas Valley (28).
