The YSU Women's basketball team has a new recruit. In fact, this is the FIRST signed by newly hired head coach Cindy Martin. Macey Nortey is headed to Youngstown State. She's a 5-3 point guard from Long Beach California... and a 4-time all conference player. 
Nortey also led Millikan High School to a school-record 24 wins last season.  Nortey, a starter in the First Annual So-Cal Sparks All-Star Game, guided Millikan to a conference co-championship and the program’s first appearance in the state playoffs.
