Both the Indians and Pirates were rained out of action on Mother's Day. As a result, the Tribe and Toronto Blue Jays will play a pair of games Monday at Progressive Field. It's the first traditional doubleheader at Progressive Field in eleven years. In honor of Mother's Day, the Indians will wear pink ribbons and wristbands. Fausto Carmona gets the nod in game one at 4:05. Cliff Lee will pitch in the nightcap.
The Pirates and Braves didn't have much better luck getting their game in this afternoon. They too will play a doubleheader on Monday. Game one is slated to start at 12:35 at PNC Park. Zach Duke will start in Game 1 of Monday's twin bill and right-hander John Van Benschoten will toe the rubber in game two.
