Kent State Bows Out of NCAA Tourney
The Kent State Golden Flashes bowed out of the NCAA Tournament with a 71-58 first-round loss to UNLV on Thursday.  The Flashes tied a tournament record for fewest points in a half with just ten in the first half.  Despite the setback, Kent placed four players in double-figures.  Haminn Quaintance and Chris Singletary led the way with 12 apiece.  Joe Darger led the Rebels with 18 points, including four 3-pointers.  UNLV advances to play top-seeded Kansas in the second round.  Kent State's season comes to an end with an overall makr of 28-7.
