The YSU Men's Basketball Team lost its third straight game, with a 76-69 setback to UW-Milwaukee Thursday night at U.S. Cellular Arena. With the win, the Panthers have now won eight of their last nine, sweeping the season series against YSU. The Penguins, who have now lost five of their last six games, were led by Byron Davis who scored 22 points. Senior John Barber netted 16, while Vytas Sulskis added 15 in the setback.
With the loss, Jerry Slocum's team falls to 7-12 overall, and 3-6 in the Horizon League. The Penguins return to action Saturday afternoon when they battle UW-Green Bay. Tipoff is set for 1PM ET at the Resch Center.
