14-year old Ryder is learning the ins and outs of the military aircraft they fly at the 910th Airlift Wing in Vienna. An interest in airplanes is in his blood. His achievements will come against the odds. Ryder has been in and out of foster care for years. He was reunited with his birth father for four years, before his father passed away.
But he dreams of having a permanent family. He describes himself as nice. He doesn't mind school and does best in math and science. He enjoys the outdoors, especially swimming, hiking, and bike riding. He's ready and willing to help out; he even likes to mow the grass. His caseworker at Northeast Ohio Adoption Services is hoping to find the perfect home where Ryder can excel. A life that's ready to put the past behind him and with the help of a family, let the future take flight.
