She barely knows how to ice skate herself, but when we met 11-year old Reba at the Ice Zone in Boardman she was quick to say she'd help me. It seems that's her way.Sandy Panezich is an adoption worker at Northeast Ohio Adoption Services. For the last eight months she's been getting to know Reba and working to find her an adoptive home.
While she prefers basketball and soccer, Reba's a quick study on handling a hockey stick with the help of Y-S-U players Kevin Pawlos and R-J Miller. She says school is okay. She enjoys computer games and board games like Scrabble and Yahtzee. Some day she'd like to be a horse trainer. But first Sandy wants to find her the forever family that she believes will help Reba excel even more.
