Dr. Barkett has a family dental practice in Canfield and is a member of Corydon Palmer Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.  Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania , Dr. Barkett's family relocated to California in 1960. Dr. Barkett attended U.S.C. School of Dentistry. After graduation she was looking for something intimate and personal in a dental practice, but could not find that in California . Dr. Barkett returned to the area in 1988 from Los Angeles, California .

Dr. Barkett takes an interest in cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys her profession and finds it very rewarding to change someone's appearance. While helping people go through this transformation she and her staff realize that the patients health is important while delivering dental care.
