The Valley pays its final respects for a local DOOO WOP legend. Family and friends attended services for long time entertainer George "Wydell " Jones today. Jones was the lead singer OF the original "EDSELS" singing group. His career is perhaps most known for the hit single, "rama lama ding dong." Jones had been singing locally and playing keyboard at area entertainment venues. He also founded and managed various gospel groups around the valley. George Jones was 71.
