Akron Children's Hospital is saying no to smokers, in a very big way.
Starting in November, the hospital is taking a ground-breaking stand on their "no smoking" policy. At this point, no one will be hired who tests positive for nicotine.
The hospital banned smoking from its campus two years go, and from then until recently, sent smokers to the sidewalk to light up.
Some say the new policy isn't fair, but the vice president of human resources at the hospital says it's the next logical step.
