City and County leaders cut the ribbon on the second recycling center in Struthers on Tuesday.

It's now open for collection, you can drop off any recyclable materials including bottles, cans, plastic, and paper products.  The big yellow bin sits in a prime location, just off South Bridge Street.

"We get ten thousand cars through here per day.  We feel it will be a great benefit for the residents of Struthers, as well as others in the surrounding communities to recycle. Reuse, recycle.", explains Terry Stocker, Struthers Mayor.

This is one of nine new recycling sites put up throughout Mahoning County.

Grants secured by the Green Team and County Commissioners helped pay for the brand new bins.
