Meanwhile in Mineral Ridge....A ceremony took place to honor veterans...and to support a local hero. Senior Care Center Briarfield at the Ridge honored 30 veterans who live at the facility. Local band "Country Cousins" played music for the veterans. The Flag Day Program also honored U-S Army Private Eric Westfall who's stationed in Iraq. His mother is an employee at Briarfield. The event also included the dedication of a new flag pole in the center's Memorial Garden.
