The Youngstown Police Department recognizes a group of officers for their extra-ordinary service.
Over seventy men and women were honored on Thursday at the annual awards banquet.
The top honors went to officers who were key in solving high-profile crimes such as the Jimmy Higham case, as well as the Stewart Avenue fire, which killed six people in January.
