Boccieri Campaign Money

State Senator John Boccieri will soon get some financial and strategic help from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  Boccieri was among 10 non-incumbent candidates to be tapped for the Committees "red to blue" program.  He gets assistance in his bid to win Ohio's 16th Congressional District seat, that will be vacated by retiring Republican Congressman Ralph Regula. Boccieri says he believes people are ready for some major changes in Washington.

"THE COMMON CALL THAT I'VE HEARD FROM PEOPLE IS THAT THEY WANT TO CHANGE THE WAY WASHINGTON DOES BUSINESS. THEY WANT A REPRESENTATIVE TO FIGHT FOR THEM, THEY WANT A MEMBER OF CONGRESS TO MAKE IT THEIR JOB TO FIGHT FOR EVERYONE'S JOB."

According to the Washington Post's website, Ohio's 16th District is listed as the Number one Congressional seat likely to change party affiliation this November.
