Grand jury indicts Youngstown Wastewater employee

Jeff Campana is charged with theft in office and grand theft

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A worker with Youngstown's Wastewater Treatment Plant has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on charges of stealing from his employer.

Jeff Campana is charged with theft in office and grand theft.

Prosecutors say Campana stole a number of inch-thick steel plates normally used in road work and then sold them for scrap.

The plates are said to be worth about $30,000.

He's expected to appear in Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas later this month.
