(WKBN) - Voters in Pennsylvania's 16th District have chosen Democrat Ronald DiNicola to challenge incumbent Republican Rep. Mike Kelly this November.
The new 16th Congressional District in Pennsylvania, which consists of 700,000 people, includes all of Mercer and Lawrence counties.
DiNicola has run for Congress before and now he's back. He wants the government to create educational and job opportunities, plus rebuild the infrastructure.
"Communities like Sharon, Hermitage, New Castle are suffering from sustainability issues and we need to have communities that are livable in order for them to attract jobs," he told us before the primary.
Kelly is trying to win a fifth term.
