Tuesday, April 17
1:57 a.m. - S. State Street and E. Second Street, Durrell Richardson, arrested and charged with OVI, impeding traffic, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property during a traffic stop. Police said Richardson was sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle with his foot on the brake. Police said he smelled of alcohol, and a loaded handgun was found in the vehicle. The firearm was reported stolen from Youngstown, according to a police report.
5:30 p.m. - 100 block of Olive St., report that a dog jumped the fence and attacked the neighbor's 15-year-old dog. The owner of the dog said she only had him for about a week and was going to get rid of him and take care of any bills. The dog that was attacked was bleeding from the neck area.
Wednesday, April 18
4:45 p.m. - 100 block of N. Market St., Stuart Chester, charged with disorderly conduct. Police said Chester was argumentative and irate with an attorney and officers while in traffic court. Police said his traffic ticket was dismissed, but Chester wanted to come to court anyway to argue, calling officers, "crooked cops." He was escorted from the building.
5:47 p.m. - 600 block of Trumbull Ave., Brenna Clark arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and charged with disorderly conduct. Police said Clark was yelling profanities and threats during an argument over a television.
Friday, April 20
12:09 p.m. - 100 block of Mohawk Dr., a woman reported that the man door to her home was forced open. Nothing appeared missing.
Saturday, April 21
2:27 a.m. - N. State Street and Center Street, a 16-year-old driver and two 15-year-old passengers were arrested after a traffic stop. Police reported finding marijuana in the vehicle and said the driver didn't have a valid license.
11:45 a.m. - 200 block of Plymouth Ave., a man reported that his vehicle was stolen while he was conducting business out of the state. He said the keys were not left with the vehicle.
Sunday, April 22
6:11 p.m. - S. State Street and Crumlin Avenue, Dustin Reimond, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and charged with driving under suspension during a traffic stop. The passenger was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police reported finding a bag of marijuana and a grinder.
