The woman was found dead in a Carriage Hill parking lot Wednesday morning. An aggravated murder warrant has been issued for a man previously convicted of stalking her and police are seeking the public's help in locating him.

The dog is estimated to be about a year old and she is scheduled to have surgery on Thursday.

Clearly, a protection order doesn't always go far enough to protect the victim from a serial stalker. Stacey Sutera followed every legal avenue she had to keep Robert McLaughlin away from her, but in the end, it wasn't enough.
