Former Congressman Jim Traficant is making his way into the newspaper business.

He's now a featured columnist for the "American Free Press."

It's a weekly publication that promotes itself as "America's last real newspaper."

Traficant's first column will appear this week and is titled "Quarterback, Congressman, and now a Convict."

The American Free Press is based in Washington D.C. It links government control to financial interests.

"Small minded" - JERK, I have only lived in Austintown for a year - NEVER did I live in Y-town, or Mahoning County before now. But I have always listened ot him talk, from the time I was a teenager (many years ago) and I do admire him, and that fact that he speaks out and DOES tell it like it is...Has it even occured to you that Columbus has ignored this area only since he was framed and locked up where they didn't have to listen to, and answer his questioning of their type of politics? What damage he did to the valley? You sound like maybe you didn't get your pockets lined enough!!!

Sunny, Jimbo tells it like it is huh? Maybe in your small minded way but not mine. Open your mind to an area larger that Youngstown and realize what damage old Jimbo has done to this valley. We are completey ignored from Columbus as we as the Feds - can't help but to think that Jimbo had a large part in that.

HOPE YOUR BOOK GOES WELL... AS FOR JIMBO he has always in my opinion a honest person and i believe he was set up.maybe some other politicians who are really dishinest will also pay the price, i hope jimbo could help expose them..

I would wager to say the there are a lot more people that care what "jimbo" has to say than they care about what you have to say! "making a mockery of this Manhoning Valley"; are you kidding? It the idiots running around PRETENIND that they care that are making a mockery out of the valley! At least "Jimbo" does care - he cares enough to open his mouth and tell it like it is!

Why won't Jimbo just go away? I know I will be chastised for that comment, but haven't we had enough of this convicted felon making a mockery of this Mahoing Valley we live in? Your Free Speech is protected Jimbo but I bet not alot of people care what you have to say.
