Mercer County Man Shot, Suspected Shooter Arrested

A Sandy Lake man was shot, and his neighbor was arrested for shooting him following a fight Tuesday morning.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Cody Brandon Noel, 24, was involved in the fight with Michael Allen Kellner, 48, near their Obitz Road homes about 7:30 a.m.

After the two left the area, Noel then was shot on Cemetery Road near Hastee's gas station about seven miles away.

Noel was taken by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. Police described Noel's injuries as life-threatening.

Kellner was arrested and charged in the shooting. He was issued $100,000 bond and taken to Mercer County Jail.

A condition on Noel was not available late Tuesday.
