Man Sentenced in Rape of Young Girl, Boy

A 20-year-old Brookfield man has been sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of gross sexual imposition charges.

Nelson Wyer was sentenced Wednesday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. Prosecutors said he pleaded guilty to the two charges last month.

He is accused of having sexual contact with a 6-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy.
