The Saturn dealership on Route 422 in Niles is officially closed.

General Motors has authorized Jim Pace Pontiac, located next door, to honor all warranty and service work on Saturn vehicles.

Retail and service operations will continue at Saturn of Boardman until further notice. The closing comes in the wake of GM's announcement that they will discontinue the Saturn brand by October of next year.

Saturn General Manager Bill Burns says the Boardman location is the only Saturn dealership in the immediate area. That store is set to stay open through next October.
