Cheese and pepperoni; sausage; spinach; mushrooms. Who makes the best pizza in the Valley?

Sunday, more than a dozen local pizza shops competed for the chance to call theirs the best pizza in the Valley in the Mahoning Valley Pizza Cook Off.

They went before a panel of celebrity judges, including Rich Morgan, Jeff Levkulich and Stan Boney. Jim Loboy emceed the event.

Eight awards were handed out.

The People's Choice award and the Best Kitchen award went to the Sunrise Inn Pizzeria on Mahoning Avenue in Austintown.

The event benefited Potential Development.

You got to be kidding me? That pizza sucks so bad that I wouldn't give it to a dog. Was everyone on drugs when they tasted it? Or were they still half a sleep? C'mon guys, you can pick a better pizza than that. Their dough is always raw, and their sauce is sour, how can you even put it in your mouth? Were you that hungary that you didn't care what it tasted like? I'm embarrassed for you.
