A man who remains in critical condition after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Thursday night has been identified.

A representative of St. Elizabeth Health Center identified the man as Patrick Patterson, one of eight people sent to the hospital just after the accident around 6 p.m. in Canfield.

Police said a Grand Marquis driven by 61-year-old Thomas Kloc was trying to turn into the parking lot of Do Cut Sales, near Raccoon Road and 224 when it was hit by the Lincoln Navigator driven by 48-year-old Katie Mae Patterson. All 7 passengers in the Navigator and the driver of the Grand Marquis were transported to St. Elizabeth.
