Dozens of people lined up in Canfield for a hair cut on Sunday afternoon.

Every hair cut was only $10 and all proceeds will benefit 15-year-old Danielle Grim, who is fighting bone cancer.

Salon owner, Carolyn Cruz, knows the Grim family, and wanted to do something to help with the cost of traveling back and forth to Akron Children's Hospital.

Plenty of people showed up for hair cuts and didn't seem to mind the long line.

Cruz was pleased with the turnout, "I have a big family, lots of good friends, we spread the word whenever we got to get together for something like this, and it really comes together in the end."

Kevin Miller, Danielle's Uncle added, "It's overwhelming how the people come and help and stuff like that. They read about it in the paper, they really didn't, maybe know the family personally, but just with the community and stuff."

Miller said Danielle just came home from the hospital on Saturday, after having her knee replaced.

100 percent of the proceeds from the cut-a-thon went to Team Danielle.
