Alliance Teenager Killed in Crash

A teen from Alliance is dead following a crash Monday night in Smith Township.

It happened just before 7:00 pm on Oyster Road. Seventeen-year-old Charles Shreve was riding in a car driven by twenty-two-year-old Jesse Hill, also of Alliance, when they struck a tree. The accident killed Shreve. Hill was flown to Saint Elizabeth's with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into what caused the crash continues.

There was said to be a deer that jumped out in front of the car causing the crash. Its a devistating day at my school today.
