Digital Executive Producer
WKBN 27 First News in Youngstown, Ohio is looking for a true leader to take our mobile applications, website and social media presence to the next level.
Youngstown - 44512
This is not an entry-level job. It is a newsroom management position for a fast-growing digital operation. We’re looking for current online managers, online producers, newspaper editors, newspaper reporters or TV reporters with significant online experience.
The Digital Executive Producer oversees one of the busiest websites in the Youngstown area, covering big city news in a small market. The position requires diverse skills that include news gathering, posting stories and creating/editing content beyond what is produced on-air. The DEP is the leader in transitioning that content to the digital platforms.
We produce 8 ½ hours of live news every day on 3 network affiliated stations. We have multiple studios operating out of our newsroom. Our stations are completely Hi-Definition with the resources to tell the big stories. We have 2 live trucks, live backpacks, laptop editors, brand new field cameras and a remote production truck.
If you believe in being first with breaking news, finding a new way to tell every story and like to be on the team with a winning strategy, send your resume and samples of your writing to:
