Pa. State Police: 1 dead after car crashed into home and tree
Pennsylvania State Police arrived on the scene around 11:55 p.m. Saturday
HICKORY TWP., Pa. (WKBN) - The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the cause of a fatal one-vehicle crash late Saturday night.
The 26-year-old driver, Jon Campbell, died from blunt force trauma by the time PSP arrived.
According to a police report, Campbell was driving on Harlansburg Road when his truck hit an embankment, causing it to go airborne. It then crashed into a tree and rolled over several times.
Campbell then flew out of the truck before it hit a house in the 1700 block of Harlansburg Road. No one in the house was injured.
Officials say Campbell was not wearing a seatbelt and that speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
PSP also says multiple neighbors received property and house damage.
The crash remains under investigation.
