Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik is now less than six weeks away from returning to the ring to defend his titles.

The Ghost is set to face Miguel Espino on Saturday Dec. 19, at YSU's Beeghly Center. It's the Ghost's sixth fight overall in his own backyard, and the second straight in downtown Youngstown.

Pavlik was last in the ring in February when he defeated Marco Antonio Rubio. Since that time, the Ghost has battled complications from a hand injury that twice forced him to back out of fighting Paul Williams.

Team Pavlik said the hand is much better now, and added that the upcoming fight is not just a tuneup for Pavlik.
