LaBrae Clinches Share of AAC Crown

The undefeated LaBrae boys' basketball team clinched at least a share of the All American Conference National Division crown with a 57-49 overtime win over Newton Falls Friday night in the MyValleySports.com Game of the Week.

Matt Szorady led the way with 16 points for the Vikings, while Nathan Middleton added 14. Peyton Aldridge and Carrington Herron each tallied ten in the win.

Cody Dillon led Newton Falls with 16 points in the setback.

LaBrae improves to 18-0 overall and 8-0 in league play. The Vikings return to action February 10 at home against Champion.

Newton Falls drops to 13-3 overall and 6-2 in the league. The Tigers will host Garretsville Garfield on Tuesday.
