ERIE, Pa. (AP) — Police in Erie say a robbery victim identified a suspect after recognizing him from a picture in an old school yearbook.
Erie police say they arrested 30-year-old Anthony Williams on Monday on charges of robbery, terroristic threats and simple assault.
Police say Williams was one of two men who accosted the victim outside a convenience store on Oct. 17, taking the victim's jacket, cell phone, keys and $300.
Police say the victim recognized Williams because they went to school at Central Career and Technical School in the mid-1990s. After identifying Williams in old yearbooks the victim brought to the police station, police say the victim identified a newer photo of Williams from a photo lineup.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Williams.
