As the 2010 election gets closer, the pundits are starting to speculate as to who Governor Ted Strickland will choose as his running-mate next year.

One of those getting some extra attention is none other than Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams.

Williams said Tuesday that no one has even contacted him about the Lt. Governor's job, and added that he has no plans to leave anytime soon.

He said he truly loves what he'd doing right now and that his current position is all he could have dreamed of, and more.

This month, Williams was re-elected to his second—and final—four year term as mayor.

He said he hadn't given any thought to what he'll do when he leaves this job because he's busy focusing on the challenges he'll face these next four years.
