Warren School on Lockdown Following Nearby Shooting

The Willard K-8 building in Warren was locked down for about 15 minutes this morning following a shooting near the school.

Police say the shooting happened about 11 a.m. Monday at a home on Willard Avenue. They say a shot was fired at the home.

No one was injured and they believe the suspect fled the area.School officials say they had the school on lock down until police told them the area was safe.

Detectives are still investigating. No arrests have been made.
