Warren residents said they felt Wednesday's series of drug raids sent a clear message to area dealers and suppliers.

As part of "Operation Reclamation," nearly 100 police officers raided six homes in Warren Wednesday morning. At least 15 were arrested and several types of drugs, including heroin, were confiscated.

Most residents said they're no longer going to tolerate drug activity in their neighborhoods. Community groups are even encouraging people to fill out yellow ACTION cards if they notice any suspicious drug activity.

All information is confidential and passed onto police. Members of the Southwest Neighborhood Association and ACTION said the program is working.

"I'm standing here unafraid because I mean business," said Rhonda, of the association. "And the Southwest Neighborhood organization means business. And we're trying to help the police and work with the community as much as possible."

The yellow ACTION cards can be found at 10 businesses and churches throughout the city. Those include the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., and the Trumbull County administration building, 160 High St. N.W.
