The two men facing charges related to April's double homicide in Warren stood in front of a judge Thursday afternoon, facing several charges, including two counts of aggravated murder.

Eugene Cumberbatch and Eugene Henderson both pled not guilty to the indictments, charging them with killing 11-year-old Lloyd McCoy and 26-year-old Marvin Chaney.

The two had very little to say.  "No, I got nothing to say, man," Cumberbatch said, as he left the courtroom.

Police say the two opened fire on the Wick Street home of Lloyd McCoy's sister on April 13.  Lloyd's three year old nephew was also injured in the shooting.

Family members are hoping if the two are convicted of the charges, they will get the maximum sentence.  "Suffice to say this is a case that does have the potential to carry a life imprisonment sentence with no parole eligibility," said Assistant Trumbull County Prosecutor Chris Becker.

The two are not eligible for the death penalty.

Members of the victims family, including the parents of Lloyd McCoy, sat in the front row during the proceedings.  "We shouldn't forget that this is pain that is unbearable," said Councilman Bob Dean, a friend of the McCoy family.

Cumberbatch and Henderson are being held in the county jail on a two-million dollar bond. The two are due back in court next week.  Court officials say it could be months before their cases go to trial.
