A Warren city employee who was fired for taking a city vehicle outside the city for personal business has filed a grievance.
Larry Simpson is asking for the same type of discipline given to a police officer facing similar charges. Police sargent Manny Nites is accused of going to coach his child's sporting event while on the clock.
City officials say they will decide on Simpson's case, after a decision is made for Nites.
