Members of United Autoworkers Local 1714 marked a milestone with a 40th anniversary celebration Saturday.

Former and current workers attended the event at the union hall in Lordstown.

The union also invited the community to the party to thank them for their support through the years.

And to celebrate GM's newest model, which will be built at the local plant, organizers raffled off a Chevrolet Cruze.

Local 1714 represents 1,300 fabrication workers.
