Trumbull County commissioners are looking for some grant money to help the county go green -- at least in one building.

The county will apply for a grant to install a solar panel system on the roof of the Job and Family Services building on North Park Avenue.

Commissioners said they believe they could save a substantial amount of money on electricity costs if the panels are installed and they believe the Job and Family Services building is the perfect place to start.

Officials said it will take about one year before they find out if they'll receive the state grant.
